It’s all in the family!
RT Tire was founded in the year 2000 by brothers-in-law Ron Paschall and Tom Nuss. They had been partners at Quality Used Tires, retail used tire stores with several northern California locations.
A few years later, they took their family business online and continued to provide safe, carefully inspected, high tread used tires, at a substantial savings over new tires. Sales were done on EBAY and Craigslist from their warehouse in Benicia and tires were either shipped to the customer or picked up onsite.
By 2010, RT Tire had grown, strengthened by the addition of two new family members: Larry Morris, Tom’s cousin, and David Nuss, Tom’s brother.
In 2013, they decided to return to a brick and mortar retail model and a site was located in Pacheco. RT Tire joined forces with Morris and McGinn Tire Installation to do mounting, balancing and tire repair. Morris & McGinn(M&M) is owned by Michael Morris (Larry’s son) and his business partner, Patrick McGinn.
Over the years, RT Tire formed a strong team. They have employed Manager Manuel Morales and his sons, D’Angelo and Logan, Ron’s sons James and Jeff, David’s sons Sam and Tim and Patrick’s brother and sister, Jason and Marilyn. M&M also employed Larry’s son Kevin.
Working together, our family has built RT Tire from the ground up. And we will continue to provide your family with safety-focused, high quality products for years to come.
